We've made a few different types and I never get around to taking pictures and/or writing up everything.
I thought I'd try a little experiment last night, and I've had the idea going for a little while. I always loved the frozen pudding pops as a kid. Why not get some pudding, mix it up and throw it in the ice cream maker instead of in the fridge and letting it set up. It worked quite well. I had happened upon some Pumpkin Spice flavored pudding when I was at one of the bigger grocery stores (that I don't usually visit due to distance) the other night. I grabbed two of the small packages of it thinking that if the experiment didn't work, I could still have pumpkin pudding with the second packet. I'll probably just make a second batch of ice cream.
I have no idea if you can do anything similar without an ice cream maker as I had never made homemade ice cream until we received this appliance.
Ingredients:
* 1 small box of Pumpkin Spice pudding mix
* 2 cups of milk
Directions:
Whisk all the ingredients together until well blended then pour it into the ice cream maker and let the ice cream maker blend until it's the texture you want.
I didn't want this to get too frozen since I wanted us to be able to actually eat it.
Since I just used a small box to make this, we didn't get much each. A pretty similar amount if I would have just made pudding.

Ice cream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!!!
Food, food, and more food...my mouth is watering!
Thank you for the recipe's.
We too try to eat healthy, using organic products and visiting our local organic farmers market for as much fresh fruits and veggies as possible.
I have also invented our own special, VERY healthy, juice. I think I may blog the recipe or maybe we should try to patent it? Hummmm....
